ANUDEEP ADIRAJU
AI engineer and researcher with 4+ years building production systems. I ship AI products that real people use — from clinical platforms serving 10,000+ users to autonomous multi-agent systems running 100+ tasks a day. Currently splitting time between Gimmie AI and the UTSA Research Lab, and selectively taking on consulting projects.
I started building ML systems as a freelance engineer, delivering NLP pipelines and inference systems for healthcare clients. That work — shipping production code for paying customers — taught me more about building reliable software than any course.
I came to UTSA to go deeper. The research lab gave me access to real clinical problems, and I turned that into QuitTxt — an AI system for smoking cessation that's now published in a Q1 journal and serving thousands of users. Along the way, I built a real-time seismic dashboard, led the CS team for NASA Lunabotics, won the NVIDIA DGX Spark Hackathon, and published 5 papers.
Now I'm working across two roles — building automation infrastructure at Gimmie AI and continuing to own the QuitTxt platform at UTSA. I also take on selective consulting projects, especially in AI product development, pipeline design, and LLM-powered automation.
If you're building an AI product and need someone who can own it end-to-end — from architecture to deployment — let's talk.
Senior Automations Engineer
Gimmie AI, LLC
Building AI-powered automation infrastructure for an AI gifting platform. Designing end-to-end workflows that integrate LLM services, third-party APIs, and data pipelines — replacing manual processes across product, sales, and marketing.
Research Scientist Associate
UTSA Mobile & AI Lab
Own end-to-end delivery of the QuitTxt clinical AI platform. Serving 10,000+ concurrent users at sub-100ms SLA. Drive architecture, CI/CD, incident response, and capability expansion across the full deployment lifecycle.
Graduate Research Assistant
UTSA Mobile Lab — Dr. Akopian
Built a RAG-based clinical AI backend handling 500K+ daily API requests at 99.9% uptime. M.S. thesis: 94.8% performance improvement, 100% retrieval precision, 86% memory leak elimination. Published at UTSA ECE 2024; submitted to ACL Rolling Review 2026.
Computer Science Lead
NASA Lunabotics Challenge, UTSA
Led 8-engineer team building autonomous robot navigation with distributed sensor fusion (LIDAR, IMU, CV). 35% accuracy improvement over 200+ test runs.
Freelance ML Engineer
Self-Employed
Delivered NLP and ML pipeline contracts for healthcare clients. End-to-end inference systems handling 10,000+ daily predictions — from model training through production deployment and post-delivery support.
M.S. Computer Engineering
UT San Antonio
GPA 3.76. Thesis: "Performance Optimization and AI Integration in Mobile Health Applications" (ProQuest, 2025). Competitive Research Scholarship (5 semesters).
Software Engineering Intern
Aimlytics Technologies
40% API response time reduction for a platform serving 100K+ daily users. Cut peak-load failures 60%. Implemented auth and developer-facing integration docs.
B.Tech Computer Science
HITAM, Hyderabad
Undergraduate degree in CS. First ML projects, first published papers, first open-source contributions.
