My part
Messaging sandbox, authentication, and role-based access

Wording, timing, language, and the path after a reply all shape a research protocol. Cadence brings that preparation into one workspace.

It came out of my research software work at the UTSA Mobile Lab. Access to the research application itself is managed separately.

How it works

  • Prepare the words

Reusable message templates and their language variants, kept close to the step where they belong.

  • See what comes next

Steps and conditions together, so you can follow how a sequence changes when a reply takes a different path.

  • Give testing its own space

A research sandbox to inspect protocol behavior separately from live participant delivery.

The workflow: prepare the words, see what comes next, and give testing its own space.

What I worked on

I worked on a separate messaging workspace where researchers could prepare and preview protocols. Timing, content, and access for different researchers all had to fit together.

For the public website, I made that idea easier to explore through a small message sequence. You can choose a step and read the message in context, without needing access to the research application.
